The CRM in the sidebar
A VS Code extension that shows the account an engineer is working on and logs the work back to Salesforce, without leaving the editor.
The challenge
Engineers at a B2B SaaS company were fixing issues tied to specific customer accounts, but the account context lived in Salesforce, in a browser, behind a login. Work rarely got logged, because logging it meant leaving the editor.
What we built
A VS Code extension with a sidebar that shows the account tied to the current branch or ticket, pulled live from Salesforce. Engineers can read the account and log activity back to the CRM from a command, without opening a browser. Authentication is per-user OAuth with scoped tokens.
The outcome
The context engineers needed sat next to the code, and the CRM finally reflected the work. What used to be a context switch became a glance.
