Privacy policy

Summary

Safi Studio (“we“, “us“) runs safi-studio.com. We keep data collection to the minimum needed to answer your enquiries and understand how the site is used. We do not sell your data.

What we collect

  • When you contact us. The enquiry form asks for your name, email, company and a short message. We use these only to reply and to discuss possible work.
  • Analytics. We use a privacy-friendly analytics tool to count page views and see which pages are popular. It does not use cookies and does not collect information that identifies you personally.

We do not run advertising trackers, and we do not build profiles on visitors.

How we use your information

We use the details you send to respond to you, to scope and deliver work you ask for, and to keep records of our correspondence. We use analytics only in aggregate, to improve the site.

Sharing

We do not sell or rent your information. We share it only with service providers that help us run the site or communicate with you, and only as far as they need it to do that job. We may disclose information if the law requires it.

Sub-processors

These are the only third parties that process data for us, and the only ones that touch anything you send us:

  • Hetzner hosts the server this site runs on, in Germany. Everything you submit is stored there.
  • Umami, self-hosted on our own infrastructure, counts page views. It sets no cookies and stores no data that identifies you.
  • Google Workspace carries our email, so an enquiry you send reaches us through it.

We do not use an advertising network, a customer data platform, or a third-party form or chat widget, so there is nothing else in the chain. If that changes, this list changes with it. Business customers who need a formal data-processing agreement can request one by email.

Retention

We keep enquiry emails and form submissions for as long as needed to serve you and to meet our record-keeping needs, then delete them.

Your rights

You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email us and we will act on reasonable requests.
